The Sonicare toothbrush was recommended to me by my dentist a couple of years ago. She told me it was the best toothbrush I could use, and I definitely think she was right. Like other reviewers have said, the replacement heads are expensive. But costly dental work is MORE expensive! These brush heads are just the right size for the average adult mouth and get my teeth sparkly clean. The health of my gums has improved greatly since using the Sonicare, too. Here’s a hint…Purchase these replacement heads under Amazon’s subscription plan and you win two ways: You save money and you don’t have to worry about ordering. It’s all taken care of you automatically by Amazon.

Blue & White Striped Nursing Pillow
This was the first and only nursing pillow I intended to buy when I had my daughter.
The pros are:
1) You can strap the pillow around your body and walk around (with one arm supporting the front of the pillow) if need be. I’m not suggesting to be reckless while wearing this pillow, but the option to have one hand free is available. (I could not put my daughter down for 2 months, so it was wonderful to be able to have an extra hand)
2) The pillow has little cushion type bumps built into the pillow beneath each breast; it helps to position baby’s head in line with the nipple.
While this product was beneficial to me in so many ways (including sitting down to have a meal with my husband), I have used a boppy for bedtime nursing SO much more. The boppy is so much softer and therefore lends itself better to sit in a regular couch chair or rocker/glider.

Aquaphor Healing Ointment
When I found out that my baby has eczema, has peanut allergy, and is prone to breakout in itchy rash often, I tried A LOT of creams and nothing worked. His skin just soaked up the lotions and he was still dry. So I went online and did a lot of research and found Aquaphor. Along with the Vanicream recommended by his allergist (you can get it over the counter, just have to ask the pharmacist), I used the Aquaphor to seal the Vanicream on specific areas of his breakouts. It has been two months now and his skin now looks GREAT. He is not waking up at nights from his itchy skin! I still use it for him everyday and whenever I see/feel little bumps, I just put on the Vanicream and seal it with Aquaphor.

I guess the most important thing to start with is – my kids LOVE Z-Bars. They were introduced to these early and as far as they know, this is what granola/snack bars are. They find other, more sugar-laden, bars a little too much. I was pleasantly surprised to find this and am more than happy to ply them with this healthier alternative.
These are a great tasty snack and pretty portable. They only suffer in the hot weather when they get a melty. Otherwise, they hold the kids over from 10AM to lunch on most days. Also, the 140 calories makes them a nice snack for adults too when you’re not up for a 200+ calorie bar.
I guess it’s important to note the price as well. The value is great (especially if you subscribe) for a this amount of bars.
