Aveeno Baby Cream
I use this baby shampoo on my infant son. He has contact skin allergies, such as eczema. After trying all different kinds of shampoos on him, I started using Aveeno Baby Soothing Relief Creamy Wash on his hair and body. Since using this product, my son’s skin looks and feels so much better. He has very sensitive skin, and I am glad that Aveeno makes a fragrance free baby wash. I even use this shampoo to take off my eye make-up because it is tear free, and so gentle.
Blue & White Striped Nursing Pillow
This was the first and only nursing pillow I intended to buy when I had my daughter.
The pros are:
1) You can strap the pillow around your body and walk around (with one arm supporting the front of the pillow) if need be. I’m not suggesting to be reckless while wearing this pillow, but the option to have one hand free is available. (I could not put my daughter down for 2 months, so it was wonderful to be able to have an extra hand)
2) The pillow has little cushion type bumps built into the pillow beneath each breast; it helps to position baby’s head in line with the nipple.
While this product was beneficial to me in so many ways (including sitting down to have a meal with my husband), I have used a boppy for bedtime nursing SO much more. The boppy is so much softer and therefore lends itself better to sit in a regular couch chair or rocker/glider.
